New Government in Latvia

The Latvian News Agency, LETA, reported today that the Latvian Saeima confirmed the new government. The new government is headed by newly appointed Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (New Era).
The new Dombrovskis government was approved by a vote of 67-21.
As reported earlier, the new government is a coalition of five parties, including New Era, Civic Union, For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK, the People's Party and the Union of Greens and Farmers. These parties have a combined 64 votes in parliament.
