The saying “List ka Janos”……that it always rains on St. John’s Day held true yet again, as it typically does in Latvia- the Jani festival was held rain or shine in Priedaine, where the LatCham banner inauguration was held. The New York based Latvian folk dance group “ Jumis” proudly held the banner prior to their outstanding performance, entertaining the audience of all ages. The event provided an opportunity to meet with individuals to discuss the Chamber's vision and strategy.  This was a pre-launch event for the NY/NJ chapter and we used it to create awareness of the Chamber in the NY/NJ area.
