December 2010 marks the beginning of a new era for Latvian business growth and expansion with the foundation of the Latvian British Chamber of Commerce (LBCC).
Led by board of directors and co-founders; Ms Anete Vignere, Mr Marcis Liors Skadmanis and Ms Datsa Gaile; LBCC opened its doors in Mayfair-London in the winter of 2010. They have already made tremendous strides in promoting their visibility in the UK as well as Latvia.
LBCC is a non-governmental organization. They have stated their commitment to promote trade between UK and Latvia. LBCC provides a “full range professional services to its members; Business services, Financial & Tax Services, Legal Services, PR & Marketing, International / Local and Research. Those services will give any company foresight, direction and empowerment during these competitive times”.
LatCham has initiated discussions with LBCC to find common themes that can be jointly addressed in an effort to promote international trade and investment.
More information about the Chamber can be found at http://www.latvianchamber.co.uk/home/.
